CTC Coventry & CTC Rugby – Rides for the week beginning 22nd September 2019


  1. The Winter programme of “slide shows” is nearly upon us. The first show will be presented by Dave Hearn on 1st October at The Friends meeting House, starting at 2000hrs.  The cost is remarkably good value at £1.50. 
  2. There are still a few slots available at the end of the season and the current programme can be downloaded from our website.

  • CTC Coventry Sunday 22nd September
    1. Rides meet at the War Memorial Park by the Park & Ride facility (SP 324 774) at 0915hrs.  View the weather forecast
    2. A moderately paced ride of under 30-miles will be led by Vicky Palethorpe (077 2227 1196) to Leamington, The Pump Rooms (SP 317 656) and back to War Memorial Park.   
    3. A longer ride will be led by Jeff Palethorpe  (075 1029 7038) to:
    •     Warwick, Pastelaria Portuguesa  (SP 289 653) for coffee after  9-miles
    •     Long Marston, Espresso Barn     (SP 167 475) for lunch after 27-miles
    •     Wilmcote, Mary Arden’s Farm      (SP 165 582) for tea after 40-miles and return to
    •     Coventry, Memorial Park after a total of 61-miles

    CTC Coventry Tuesday 24th September
    • Meeting point: Stretton-under-Fosse, Malt Kiln Farm (SP 455 814) at 1015hrs.
    • At approximately 1100hrs the ride will be led by Bob Tinley (024 7654 2676, 077 1783 3565) to lunch at Sapcote Garden Centre (SP 479 937) after 16-miles.
    • The ride will return towards Coventry with riders leaving the group when convenient

    • Coffee at Wellesbourne
